Start with the documented color character
Seapearl is a white with cool gray undertones. Temperature is a useful description, but neighboring materials can change the impression. Seapearl's cool gray undertone separates it from whites selected mainly for creamy warmth.
Why the brick and pale limestone relationship matters
Brick and limestone create different colored boundaries, so a white that agrees with one still needs to be checked against the other.
Seapearl has an LRV of 76.43; Benjamin Moore Dove Wing OC-18 is 77.52. The difference is 1.09 points, with Dove Wing returning more light under the reference measurement. Dove Wing is a silvery off-white. This supplies a named color control; the LRV gap alone does not identify the warmer, greener or pinker paint.
Use Dove Wing as a control
Put Seapearl directly against the whitest permanent surface and then against the warmest one. If those two boundaries disagree, decide which surface controls the project. The word warm cannot reconcile every ivory cabinet with every white stone, and a cooler label does not automatically imply an unsuitable room.
Separate a persistent cast from a comparison effect
Test against both materials in the same light; a gray undertone can read differently next to each.
Keep, compare or change direction
Judge the temperature description against the full brick and pale limestone arrangement. A warm or cool label is a useful starting category; it cannot guarantee that Seapearl agrees with every material assigned the same label. The wood-floor pairing guide covers that related choice.
